Denise Marica
Denise Marica is a seasoned Director of Development, with a background in non-profit fundraising and growth strategies. She studied History and Art History at Haverford College and attended Hawaii Preparatory Academy. Her professional career spans across multiple organizations, including Founders Pledge and SFMOMA, where she served as the Director of Development and Growth Initiatives, respectively. In her role as the Director of Development at Bay Area Discovery Museum, Denise is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies. She has also worked as an Associate Director of Individual Giving, Project Manager, Volunteer Council Assistant, Individual Giving Intern, and Philadelphia Region Office Intern. Denise is passionate about reproductive freedom and has even interned at the ACLU's Clara Duvall Project in the past. Outside of work, Denise founded denmari, a consulting firm that provides fundraising strategy and campaign support for non-profits.
