Ash Levitt is a versatile professional who holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a B.A. in Psychology from Drury University. He has unique backgrounds in music, live sound, and broadcast, as well as in research, psychology, and data analysis, which he combines to further the vision, growth, and development of Heil Sound as an industry-leading producer of microphones for the live sound, podcast, broadcast, and recording industries.

Ash has served as the President of Heil Sound Communications, Inc., and Head of Research at the same firm. He was also a Data Science Consultant at ACV Auctions, a Senior Research Scientist and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University at Buffalo (UB), a Graduate Instructor, and a Predoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Missouri, and held the role of Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at University of Missouri. He is a Robert S. Daniel Teaching Fellow and has been actively involved in several organizations, such as the Heil Sound Communications, Inc.

With a background in both psychology and music, Ash brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to the table, leveraging his expertise in data analysis, research, and product development. His interests include live sound, broadcast, and recording industries, research, data analysis, and psychology.
