Drew Oetting is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor, with extensive experience in venture capital, private equity, and business development. He studied Mathematics and Economics at Claremont McKenna College and has a passion for using technology and innovation to drive social impact. Oetting is the founder of 8VC, a venture capital firm focused on supporting entrepreneurs who are transforming industries such as healthcare, agriculture, and education. Prior to starting 8VC, he served as Chief of Staff at Formation-8 and worked in various roles at Moelis & Company, Cascade Investment, and Asia Pacific Investment Partners. Oetting also serves on the advisory boards of several social impact organizations such as Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children and Living on One.
