Daewon Kim is an accomplished filmmaker, editor, animator, and assistant director with a background in film, cinema, and video studies. Daewon has a Master of Fine Arts degree from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the same school. Daewon also completed a Certificate in Film from Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts.

Daewon's strong background led him to work in various organizations, including Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Media Production. Previously, Daewon worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Teaching Assistant at San Francisco State University, as well as a Film Editor at the College of Alameda. Daewon has also worked as a Film Editor and Animator for DocFilm Institute, a Film Editor and Producer for IYUNO Media Group, and an Assistant Director and Film Editor for Studio Tomorrow and Sidus HQ/iHQ, respectively.

Daewon is a talented professional who has gained expertise in film/cinema/video production and has worked in various roles throughout his extensive career. As an Assistant Professor, Daewon shares his knowledge and experience with students, helping them to become successful media professionals.
