Margaret Marrer is an accomplished educational leader and administrator who has devoted her career to improving the quality of K-12 education for students from diverse backgrounds. Having obtained a Masters in Teaching Secondary Mathematics, Mathematics from Pace University, and an Ed. M. Public School Leadership, Urban Education Leadership from Columbia University Teachers College, she is highly qualified to facilitate effective learning outcomes for students. Marrer has worked with Democracy Prep Public Schools in various capacities, including Senior Director of K-12 Curriculum and Assessments, Assistant Superintendent, and Math Curriculum Specialist. Previously she was also Founding Principal of Democracy Prep Endurance and grade level leader at Democracy Prep Public Schools. As a distinguished Leader U Fellow, Emerging Leader at Building Excellent Schools, and Teach for America alumnus, Margaret Marrer has amassed comprehensive expertise in public school leadership, curriculum development, data and assessments analysis, and urban education.
