Dee Barker is a recognized health and wellness expert with 30 years of experience in fitness, exercise, and personalized services. She studied Nursing at Bowman Gray School of Nursing, now part of Wake Forest University. Dee is the CEO of BetterBodyImage, Inc. where she is on a mission to raise awareness of risk for diabetes and heart disease. Through her company, she has created View2Lose, a PATENTED visualization app that educates and engages users on their weight loss journey. The app is proven to drive 100% engagement and 80% retention in weight loss or health/wellness programming after 6 weeks. Dee is an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist and has provided programming and training for professional sports teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers and SF 49'ers. She also developed the first exercise video for transplant patients, "Stars For Life," which set the standard nationally.
