Nuria Canal is a versatile and accomplished visual artist, curator, and communication consultant with over 20 years of experience in the cultural sector. Nuria studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and continued to pursue a solo career as a visual artist after graduation. Alongside her artistic pursuits, Nuria has been involved in various cultural projects as a curator, artistic director, producer, and communication consultant. She co-founded the "Mostra de Video Independiente de Barcelona" in collaboration with the Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona CCCB in 1993 and co-directed it until 2000.

Nuria has worked extensively as a research project consultant, supervising the development of various cultural projects, and has also worked as a creative for Communication Agencies. In addition, she currently works as a communications consultant for REACTABLE Systems and editor consultant for Iñigo Bujedo Aguirre's Photography. Nuria is a seasoned teacher and has delivered lectures at various educational institutions, including IDEP, QUAM, and the University of Barcelona. In addition, she works as a visiting tutor, teaching the Master of Branding at Bau School of Design.

Nuria Canal's work has been exhibited at various international galleries, museums, and festivals, including Fundació la Caixa, MACBA, Palau de la Virreina, Kunstlerhaus Bethanlen Berlin, Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía Madrid, and many more. Nuria's work is held in high regard and is included in public and private collections.
