Adam Sutherland is a distinguished leader in the field of paediatric pharmacy practice with a strong academic background. He is committed to improving paediatric medication safety and has a notable track record of delivering results in this field. Levelling with years of experience covering clinical sub-specialities such as paediatric critical care, genomic medicine, and paediatric medicines safety, Adam is equipped with the necessary professional expertise to implement robust strategies aimed at uplifting patient care. Notably, he holds a Master of Clinical Research with Merit degree from the University of Manchester, a PG Diploma in Advanced Pharmacy Practice with Distinction from Keele University, an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Derby, and an MPharm in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science from The University of Manchester. Adam is Senior Clinical Pharmacist, Paediatric Critical Care at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, where he has been instrumental in driving the department forward. He is also a former Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Pharmacy Practice at The University of Manchester and has in the past sat on the Paediatric Formulary Committee for the British National Formulary for Children (BNFc), where he provided his expert advice.
