Alex Hanlock-Chapman is an accomplished and dedicated Community and Environmental Planner, with an extensive background in planning and urban design. He is highly skilled in long-range planning, policy and code review and summary, graphics, document production, and urban design.

Alex received his Bachelor of Science in City & Regional Planning, with a focus on Sustainable Environments, from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. He has worked as an Associate Planner at Lisa Wise Consulting, Inc., where he focuses on existing conditions and data analysis, mapping, design and preparation of community outreach and visual survey material, document and report management, and preparation of preliminary drafts and reports.

Alex was formerly an Energy Conservation Fellow at City of San José and a City Planning Intern at Scotts Valley Planning Department. He is proficient in ArcGIS Products, the Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and communication.
