Pete Davies is a well-known writer, novelist, and journalist. He rose to great fame in 1990 with the publication of his bestseller book "All Played Out," which chronicled the Italian World Cup. Widely considered as one of the best books written about football, it remains in print even today. In his writing career, which spanned from 1986 to 2002, Pete wrote eleven works of fiction and non-fiction on a plethora of topics ranging from travel, sport, politics, science, and history. His articles have been featured in several top publications, and he has made frequent appearances on television and radio as well. While Pete quit writing in 2002, he recently made a comeback with his 2017 novel "Playlist," described as a comedy about the end of the world.
