Neil Godbole is a Bay Area native with a wide-ranging background in technology and music production. With a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles, Neil has worked for companies such as Google, Raytheon, and Amazon in tech and finance roles. However, he found his true passion in music production, learning from his father, who produced his own records in the 80s and 90s. Neil took over engineering and production work at the renowned Studio D at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco before becoming the owner/producer/engineer at Airship Laboratories in the East Bay in 2011. Neil has worked with many musicians, producers, songwriters, film directors, and dance companies, bringing his interdisciplinary skills to each project. As an Audio Production Lead at EDBL Music Collective and a former Audio Engineer / Advisor at Vocalize.ai, Neil remains a crucial part of the Bay Area music production scene.
