Paolo Martini

Paolo Martini is an accomplished professional in the field of drug discovery with a strong foundation in molecular biology. With 18 years of experience in Discovery Research, he specializes in molecular mechanisms associated with monogenic and multigenic rare diseases, hematologic malignancies, and fibrotic diseases. Paolo has expertise in project management, early development, and pre-IND filing, along with a background in consulting for assets acquisitions and licensing. His primary areas of specialties include Oncology, Genetic Diseases, Molecular Biology, Antibodies, and Protein expression.

Paolo Martini pursued Ph.D. studies in Molecular Biology at the University of Milano and Università degli Studi di Milano in Italy. Throughout his career, he held various significant roles in reputable organizations, including Senior Director Discovery Biology, Director Discovery Biology, Director Molecular Biology, and Associate Director at Shire HGT. Additionally, he served as Adjunct Faculty at Brandeis University, Group Leader at Serono Research Institute, Instructor/Post-Doctoral fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Schering AG and the University of Milano.
