Laurens Koppelaar is a seasoned insurance industry professional with broad international experience in insurance and reinsurance. He is an expert in developing and launching digital platforms and has held various leadership roles with globally recognized brands such as Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Aon. Laurens currently heads up Symbo's Singapore office, where he's responsible for leading the company's international expansion across Southeast Asia. His academic background includes a FinTech program from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and studies from Grenoble Ecole de Management - Grenoble Graduate School of Business and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He has been living and working in six countries throughout the last thirteen years and understands the Asian market trends extremely well. In his free time, Laurens enjoys participating in long-distance triathlon races such as Ironman.
