Jeff Rivera is an accomplished American writer, producer, and speaker, best known for co-founding the management and production company Collective 5 Entertainment. With over 18 TV development deals, Rivera has been instrumental in developing documentaries, docu-series, dating, science, true crime, paranormal, and various scripted genres, including kids and family for some of the leading scripted and unscripted television companies in the industry. Additionally, he represents and develops projects for selected talent, including social media campaigns, Skype/Google Hangout tours, and web content for many high profile influencers.

Rivera began his career as a child actor which led to his becoming an assistant casting director for a C.S.A. member. He turned his attention to writing, becoming a bestselling author, co-author, and ghostwriter of nearly 200 books. Rivera has appeared on national TV, radio, and various print outlets and has written for a diverse range of publications, including Entertainment Weekly, the Huffington Post, and the Boston Globe.

As an internationally sought after speaker, Rivera has given inspirational talks on his life journey of overcoming poverty and homelessness and panel discussions for the Library Journal, Authors Guild, and the Harlem Book Fair, among others. He is also passionate about developing music, live-action, and animated projects from preschool to adults featuring BIPOC characters as a writer and producer.

Rivera co-founded the 1-Hour Mastermind Mentorship Program and produces exclusive virtual networking events for senior-level Hollywood executives. He was also a juror and moderator for the Paris International Film Festival and previously served as Senior VP of Entertainment at Ebony Magazine Publishing.
