Sam Bishop is an experienced cultural events producer and manager with a focus on open-air cultural events in public spaces. He has extensive experience working with various stakeholders, including local authorities, private landowners, events companies, and community groups. Sam is the co-founder and director of Street Feast, the national day of street parties and community celebrations, and the director of Another Love Story, an annual boutique festival in County Meath. He is also active in producing and managing events for Happenings, a Dublin-based events company that produces open-air cinema, music, and community events in public spaces. Sam is recognized for his managerial skills and his ability to lead and work collaboratively with teams on complex projects.

Sam pursued an education in architecture, with a focus on advanced environmental and energy studies. He studied for his MSc in Architecture Part II from the University of East London and the Centre for Alternative Technology, and his BSc in Architecture from the University of Strathclyde. He also studied architecture at L'Ecole d'Architecture de la Villette in Paris.

In addition to his work in cultural events, Sam has also been involved in various organizations, including the Green Sod Ireland board of trustees and the Upstart Collaborative Ltd core membership team. He has also been a co-founder, co-coordinator, and facilitator of the Permaculture Gathering and a former event coordinator at the DIY Skillshare Festival.
