Mark Kohler is a seasoned corporate director, entrepreneur, investor, and senior executive leader with nearly two decades of experience. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce in Economics and Finance from Queen's University and has studied education at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and York University. Since 2007, he has been leading a strategic advisory firm focused on providing corporate finance, corporate development, M&A, investor relations, IT strategy, governance and risk management services to public and qualified private companies in Canada, California, and New York. Kohler specializes in capital advisory, corporate finance, eGRC, healthcare business strategy, IT strategy and integration, and corporate development, with a focus on technology, financial services, private equity, and healthcare sectors.

Besides his current role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Exelerate Capital, Kohler has held various leadership positions in companies and organizations such as the World Health Innovation Network, Bewhere Inc., Tohealth Ltd, Ensanté Insights Ltd, Epic Capital Management Inc, Privacy Horizon Inc, QHR Technologies, Patient Home Monitoring, Catalyst Healthcare, Acutenet Inc, and Community Trust Company. He has also been an adjunct professor at York University School of Business and a senior director of strategic planning and integration at OACCAC. Kohler was also Senior Manager, Venture Group at EY and held various senior management positions in finance, corporate development, and risk management in North America.
