Bill Funk
Bill Funk is an accomplished educator, consultant, and former director of IT services at EDS and Sprint Nextel. With a BA in Political Science and Sociology from State University of New York at Albany, Funk continued his education at University of Virginia, where he studied Liberal Arts before earning an MBA in Business from University of Redlands. With a passion for helping others create realistic futures for themselves, Funk has worked as a private tutor and consultant, high school teacher, and ESL/ELL instructor. He has also acted as WatchD.O.G.S. Coordinator for RRISD - Fern Bluff Elementary, a licensed real estate agent with Long and Foster Real Estate, and a freelance writer, consultant, and property restoration specialist.
Today, Funk gives his attention to Consulting Tutor at Self-employed, offering his expertise with divergent Design thinking to help others see connections, visualize solutions, and grow critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
