Tapera holds a Master of Business Leadership with a specialization in Organizational and Team Leadership from the University of South Africa. He also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing at the IMM Graduate School of Marketing in South Africa.

His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Zimbabwe, showcasing a solid foundation in quantitative analysis.

Furthermore, Tapera Muzira expanded his knowledge by earning a Doctor of Management in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from the Swiss Management Centre (SMC) University.

Throughout his illustrious career, Tapera Muzira has held key roles in prominent organizations. He served as the Coordinator for the JOBS for YOUTH in AFRICA Strategy at the African Development Bank Group, demonstrating his commitment to youth empowerment and economic development.

Prior to this, Tapera occupied various pivotal positions at the International Labour Organization, including Chief Technical Advisor, Regional Chief Technical Advisor for East and Southern Africa, and Resource Mobilization Coordinator. These roles underscore his expertise in labor issues and capacity building.

Additionally, Tapera Muzira served as a Resource Person for Market-driven Business Development Services and Value Chain Development at The International Training Centre of the ILO, highlighting his extensive involvement in skills development and market-oriented strategies.

Beyond his institutional roles, Tapera Muzira also ventured into entrepreneurship as the Managing Director of FIT Zimbabwe Private Limited, showcasing his business acumen and leadership in the private sector.
