Randy is a distinguished planner, project manager, policy developer, and public engagement expert. His proficiency in blending technology with a background of urban planning has set him apart as an innovator in helping the City of Tampa to compete in today's global environment. Randy studied at Michigan State University and obtained his M.S. from Troy State University. Currently, Randy is Director of City Planning, overseeing numerous special projects, updating the City's growth vision, establishing a neighborhood commercial district planning program, and creating a coastal management plan. His experiences as a project manager at the City of Tampa, where he coordinated Urban Planning, have earned him accolades from industry experts. He is the creator and former host of the Drone Radio Show, featuring drones and the changes they make in various industries. Randy has connected with over 225 industry leaders in his over four years of running the program, with downloads counting at over 650,000 to date.
