Yasser Ibrahim is a dynamic executive with a passion for developing teams that deliver responsible artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions on a large scale. With an educational background in Microelectronics & Telecommunication Systems from Ain Shams University and a Master's from Polytechnique Montréal, Yasser has over a decade of experience leading engineering teams at some of the world's most innovative companies. In his current position as SVP of Artificial Intelligence, Computational Imaging and IoT Devices at Axon and formerly as SVP of Artificial Intelligence, he has demonstrated his ability to build, grow, and manage teams that develop groundbreaking technologies like computational imaging and IoT devices that solve complex problems at scale. Yasser has experience as the Head of Distributed Machine Learning for Alexa AI and as a Senior Manager in Computer Vision for Amazon Go. Prior to his work at Amazon, he co-founded Algomorphics, LLC, and worked for Microsoft as System-on-Chip Architecture, Core OS Platform and Technical Lead/Manager in Computer Vision. At Procter & Gamble, Yasser was the Mechatronics Team Manager, and at CAE, he worked as an Aerospace Systems Architect in Autopilot and Flight Controls. With a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business, Yasser brings strategic thinking, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary leadership skills to all of his endeavors.
