Kristy Edwards is a talented product leader, entrepreneur, and expert in security and privacy. With several years of experience in building great teams and innovative products, she has become a go-to figure in cybersecurity, privacy tech, cloud, and mobile. Having co-founded privacy tech startups and co-invented security and privacy patents, Kristy is highly recognized in her field. She is known for having built 3 great security & privacy teams from scratch, and for implementing diverse security features and products such as Threat Intelligence engines, SSO, 2FA, RBAC, DB column masking, DB, and network encryption, application of machine learning, among others. In addition, she has delivered over 40+ products and features in her career which have helped firms to minimize risk and improve their security strategies.

Kristy's work has been highly commended, and her expertise sought after, as evidenced by her participation in public policy discussions with policymakers from the US, EU, and Africa. Kristy is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Masters in Cybersecurity, and Bates College where she studied Bachelor's. She has also worked as Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Zen Data Privacy, Inc.; and managed product teams at Lookout, Workday, and Oracle.
