Rafael Gonzalo is an accomplished operating partner and investment expert with global experience across Europe, the US, and Latam. With a strong background in P&L, advisory, and investment management, Rafael has overseen 12 operating sites in 8 countries, managing €32bn across 2,500 loan portfolios.

Rafael's specialties lie in distressed debt, NPLs, M&A, strategic analysis, and launching new ventures. He has launched 6 greenfield operations and restructured businesses and management teams across 10 different countries throughout his career.

His education includes an MBA in Finance from INSEAD and studying Empresariales in finance at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Rafael has also studied at the program de consejeros Deloitte - Spencer Stuart.

Currently, Rafael serves as the Managing Director at LCM Partners and has previously invested in companies such as The Curators, Blue Horizon, ThirdWay Africa, Zero Latency VR UK, Inz-ECO, and QuantuMDx Group Limited. He has a passion for private equity and venture capital and was previously a professor at IE Business School.
