Margot Schuhmacher is an expert in online education and quality assurance processes with a background in industry quality assurance. She began her career as a sessional tutor in 1993 at Monash University before moving on to lead academic development initiatives in online systems and online learning coordination at the university level. Margot's passion for educational systems led her to her current role as the Director of Education Quality at Monash's Faculty of Information Technology, where she manages quality assurance and provides strategic input for educational systems.

Margot has studied a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) at Monash University and a Graduate Certificate of Higher Education. She also holds a Certificate in Applied Chemistry from Chisholm Institute.
