Peter Skomoroch, a senior executive with extensive experience building and running data science, AI, and machine learning teams, was the former Head of Data Products at LinkedIn and Workday. Peter has shipped AI products that have scaled to hundreds of millions of users and driven significant revenue, engagement, and growth at public companies. He has a great track record in the technology industry, having co-founded SkipFlag, a venture-backed deep learning startup that was funded by top tier investors including Accel Partners, Greylock, and OATV. In January 2018, Workday, a public company, acquired SkipFlag. At SkipFlag, he employed cutting-edge technology that utilized internal communication, support tickets, and documents to autonomously build and update an enterprise knowledge base.

Peter's background includes being on the early data team at LinkedIn, where he worked under DJ Patil and Deep Nishar and grew from 400 to 8000 employees. As Principal Data Scientist and Head of Data Products, he managed a set of data teams focused on developing reputation, search, inferred identity, and building data products. He created LinkedIn Skills & LinkedIn Endorsements during his tenure, one of the fastest growing new product features in LinkedIn's history.

Before LinkedIn, Peter was Director of Analytics at Juice Analytics and Senior Research Engineer at AOL Search. He also optimized pricing for Fortune 500 retailers, studied machine learning and neural networks at MIT, where he focused on Biodefense projects funded by DARPA and the DOD. He has a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Brandeis University and research experience in Physics, Biology, and Neuroscience.
