Helmut Hutterer is an experienced video game industry professional with a diverse background spanning multiple roles and companies. With expertise in managing and growing video game development companies, video game production, original IP creation, running games as a service, free-to-play economy design, monetization, and mobile games, Hutterer has worked on 17 different titles across nine different platforms throughout his career. He began as a QA Manager at neo software before moving on to co-found Team Vienna where he shipped a commercial game as a designer and producer. He later joined ex-colleagues as QA Manager at Games That Matter, which became Deep Silver Vienna, where he eventually worked on Dead Island as a producer. In early 2010, Hutterer co-founded Socialspiel, where he worked as Managing Director, COO, and Creative Director until the studio's closure in 2017. His most recent titles include Legacy Quest and Legacy Quest: Rise of Heroes. Currently, he serves as Game Director at Rare Earth Games.
