He is the author of several academic works, including "Ancestors, Virgins, and Friars: Christianity as a Local Religion in Late Imperial China" and "Mapping China and Managing the World: Culture, Cartography, and Cosmology in Late Imperial Times." Dr. Menegon received his Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has taught at various institutions, including Wellesley College and Stanford University.
