Tim Hussin is a freelance photographer and filmmaker based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the co-founder of This Land Films.
He has a background in producing documentaries and video content, having previously worked at the San Francisco Chronicle where he co-produced The Regulars, a weekly video column, and co-directed the Chronicle's first feature-length documentary, Last Men Standing, focused on long-term HIV/AIDS survivors.
His filmmaking experience extends to feature-length documentaries like America Recycled, exploring radical communities in the American South, which has garnered recognition at film festivals worldwide.
Tim has lent his photography and filmmaking skills to various editorial publications such as The New Yorker, National Geographic Magazine, and The New York Times, as well as commercial clients like Airbnb, Starbucks, and Microsoft.
His educational background includes studying Journalism and Photojournalism at the University of Florida, where he also gained experience as a photojournalist and photo editor.
