Meet Lindsay Rood, an accomplished business systems consultant and data science enthusiast. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy/Legal Studies from the University of Rochester, Lindsay also attained a Master of Business Administration degree from the University's Simon Business School, with a focus on Competitive and Organizational Strategy, Business Systems Consulting, and Computers & Information Systems.

With years of professional experience under her belt, Lindsay has worked in various industries and acquired a multitude of skills, from market research and quality assurance to data analytics and business intelligence. She began her career at the NYS Office of the State Comptroller and later became a student intern at the NYS Division of Human Rights. As a lead paralegal at Thomas & Solomon, LLP and later at Davidson Fink LLP, Lindsay honed her legal expertise.

During her MBA program, she interned at Xerox, where she gained experience in Business Intelligence & Analytics, Worldwide Quality & Customer Experience. After graduation, she continued to grow in this field as Data & Analytics Consultant and later as Data & Analytics Senior Consultant at Verisk. More recently, she served as a Business Intelligence Manager and Team Lead at Taboola, then at Hinge. She currently holds the position of Director of Decision Science at Hinge, while imparting her knowledge and insight as an instructor at General Assembly and the NYC Data Science Academy.

Lindsay's love for data science pushed her to pursue additional courses in Python programming, culminating in her mastery of data analysis and visualization. Her broad range of professional experiences and educational achievements have equipped her with a unique set of skills, making her a leader and an asset to any team that she joins.
