Erich Wegscheider is a data-driven recruiting program analyst with a passion for remote work who has worked in a variety of HR and talent acquisition roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon and has studied at Semester At Sea / ISE.

He has held positions at GitLab Inc., Aspiranet, Calix, Zenith Labs, and Nutanix, working in roles ranging from technical sourcer to talent acquisition operations specialist to talent operations project manager.

In addition to his extensive HR and talent acquisition experience, Erich has a background as a professional triathlete and ultra-distance athlete, with experience competing in back-to-back Ironman triathlons, multiple 100-mile ultras, and a mountain bike stage race across the Steppes of Mongolia. He is currently a runner and cyclist who enjoys "reasonable" distances.
