Products include a children's health newsletter, a women's health newsletter with Family Circle and McCalls  magazines, a 300-page Year Book of medical events with Times Mirror’s book publishing division and WORLD  HEALTH TODAY, a daily medical news show joint venture with BBC  WORLD SERVICE TELEVISION. Chief editorial position charged with directing entire editorial operation in publication for primary care doctors. Recruited by new management after 30-year-old publishing company was acquired. Re-staffed and re-positioned and re-launched MEDICAL TRIBUNE from a tabloid to 4-color broadsheet. Conceived, organized and launched a daily consumer medical news service through THE NEW YORK TIMES SYNDICATE. Reported to president. Dealt regularly with divisions in Germany, Japan, Hong Kong and the U.K.

Consulted for major media companies on publication strategy and startups. Clients included WHITTLE and TIME WARNER'S ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. Wrote editorial prospectus for SELLING MAGAZINE and created 96-page sample issue, which was ultimately purchased by ABC/Cap Cities.

Analyzed market potential of Personal Software magazine (Circ. 140,000), another Hayden Publication, and ultimately merged it into Personal Computing. Built to largest personal computing magazine in the world.

Provided consultation to many areas of the corporation, from the editors of the seven magazines to the leaders of the video group. Proposed to top management a series of monthly magazines, then led team in Magazine Development group to study feasibility.  Briefly wrote for TIME MAGAZINE'S Economy and Business section.
