Edgar Vergara

Edgar Vergara is a dedicated pastor with a passion for serving God and helping others understand the presence of the Kingdom of God. He focuses on promoting spiritual disciplines such as prayer, fasting, and the study of Holy Scripture to facilitate a closer relationship with God. Edgar actively seeks opportunities to unite people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds under the common faith in Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. His educational background includes a Master of Divinity from Duke University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Arizona University, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Arizona Western College. Edgar has held various roles in different organizations, including serving as a Pastor at North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church, Hispanic/Latino Ministry Coordinator at First UMC Henderson, Student Associate Pastor at First UMC Henderson, Ministerial Intern at Manning Road Methodist Church, and Ministerial Intern at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church. Additionally, he has experience as a Graphic Designer/Interpreter-Translator at Botanutric International LTD.
