Dana Ball is a seasoned nonprofit executive with over 30 years of experience advocating for patients and leading innovative programs. With a focus on type 1 diabetes (T1D), Dana has served as CEO and Founder of T1D Exchange, a patient-centered organization dedicated to accelerating the development of emerging therapies and improving patient outcomes. As an inaugural Program Director for the T1D program at The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, Dana led grant-making initiatives aimed at advancing medical device technology, cellular therapies, and patient outreach. He also served as Executive Director of The Iacocca Foundation, developing and launching a multimillion-dollar fundraising campaign aimed at advancing the field of beta cell regeneration. Today, Dana is focused on improving the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary fibrosis.
