Pola Wojnarowicz is an accomplished Environmental Toxicologist with a wealth of experience that spans several industries. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, where she acquired her Bachelor of Science in Toxicology, and the University of Victoria, where she earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Wojnarowicz has worked in a diverse range of fields in her career. She has worked as an English Language Instructor at Gaba, a Field Technician and Research Technician at the University of Saskatchewan, a Toxicologist at Stantec, and an Analyst at Maxxam Analytics. Wojnarowicz's specialty is in environmental services. She has a solid understanding of the design and planning of environmental monitoring programs, and she is highly skilled in collecting, analyzing, and reporting chemical and biological data necessary for various environmental assessments, biomonitoring projects, human health and ecological risk assessments, disposal at sea and contaminated sites work. Her experience also includes direct participation in certified laboratory analysis of soil, water, sediment, and air samples; and the analysis of the toxicogenomic effects of municipal wastewater effluents. Most recently, Wojnarowicz served as a Recovery Analyst at the Environmental Emergency Program at BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy.
