Marielle Barnes is a talented strategy and innovation consultant with over 15 years of professional experience in Asia. As an American national from Bay Area, California, she had a base in Bangalore, India for 10+ years, providing her with cross-cultural awareness and an innovative approach to solutions and strategy. Barnes has worked across various industries from infrastructure, clean-tech, healthcare, and tourism to NGOs and non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service in International Economics: Finance & Commerce. Additionally, she's pursuing an MBL from National Law School and LLB from Bangalore University. Beyond her expertise in international project development, strategic relationships, and innovation, she's passionate about projects that heal people/the planet, micro-finance, "Bottom of the Pyramid," and disruptive technologies. When she isn't working, you can find Barnes living a global travel and living lifestyle, exploring spas, wellness practices, and global cuisines/foods. She is a former Guest Lecturer on Innovation at IIM Bangalore, WiCamp Innovation-Speaker at IIT Delhi, and Spa Consultant to Leading Hotels of the World at Four Seasons-Jimbaran (Bali).
