Ageras Group is a family of 7 businesses: Ageras Marketplace, Ageras Finance, Billy, Kontist, Salary, Tellow and Zervant. I'm ensuring the Group has full, timely and accurate visibility of all the businesses. By building, maintaining an operating a Modern Data Stack with technologies such as Fivetran, Airbyte, Meltano, Databricks/Spark, DBT, Snowflake, LightDash, Prefect, Terraform and AWS - to name a few - my purpose is to enable critical data-heavy business processes efficiently from raising capital and investment decisions to business performance reporting and operational efficiency development.

My responsibility as Chief Growth Officer is to
- Head the second largest organization in Zervant
- Drive scalable growth in terms of user acquisition but also revenue
- Own pricing

The Growth organization includes three functions: marketing, customer success and data. As we are scaling up, user acquisition and customer success become more complex. Due to my background, data is effectively used throughout Zervant to drive decision making and manage the ever growing complexity.

Growth at Zervant brings together three critical functions under one collaborative team:
1) Scaleable and profitable user acquisition
2) Customer success and voice
3) Data driven decision making through analytics

As the company scales up, everything becomes more challenging and complex. My role is to ensure we manage that complexity and growing scale in the most efficient way. The fact that this work is highly numbers-driven gets me very excited every day!

I also especially enjoy the challenge of first understanding something so complex and multi-faceted, learning the main features to focus on and lastly educating and aligning the whole team - eventually winning together.

Head of Growth

Ownership of the full data analysis stack from data generation, collection, processing, ETL, data lakes / warehousing, data science and visualization.

Head of Analytics

Turning Zervant into a data driven company, instilling use of data into the company DNA and ensuring all important decisions have data to back them up. Defining high level business KPIs and establishing BI systems.

Business Intelligence Lead

Heading a team that, as the name says, provides reporting and analytics to XBox, Surface and Lumia.

Providing business critical BI and Analytics. What we've worked on are:
- Basic Data Warehousing stuff, how to combine data from heterogenous sources in a way that reporting on top of that is easy
- Visualizing with e.g. Power BI based on business requirements
- Efficient Dynamic Calculation of metrics on big datasets - not everything is possible to pre-calculate in cubes.
- Creating self-service analysis tools for scalable consumption of information
- Preparing for and supporting data reporting needs for new product launches
- Deep dive data analyses on important topics, usually investigating an issue or possible improvement opportunities

Microsoft

Head of Care / Supply Chain BI Reporting & Analytics

Heading a team that is responsible for understanding customer needs, capturing voice of customer on quality, operator dialogue and operator scorecard. Team turns customer needs, consumer insight and competitor information into quality requirements.
Focus is strongly on using data on decision making, such as usage telemetry, but also social media and text mining.

One of the biggest achievements was educating ex-Nokia employees on the Microsoft Big Data tools, which very much correspond to Hadoop tools and has corresponding technologies for Map Reduce, Oozie, Hive and Sqoop. The tutorial I created helped hundreds of employees to onboard on these Big Data tools and to start analyzing their own technology area telemetry.

Head of Customer Voice and Requirements

Responsible for the operational development of the user testing activities of Nokia's Lumia device family.
- owner of processes and methodologies used
- driving better, quantitative ways to predict in-market device quality and reasons for it
- driving better, quantitative ways to predict customer satisfaction and reasons for it
- continuous improvement of current practices
- creating efficient and impactful methods to improve device maturity
- defining and improving reporting

As previous roles, this one has a quite broad responsibility landscape, and it requires strong influencing and organizing skills to gather the key contributors together.

Operations Development Manager

Nokia

Responsible of two high-impact web sites' development. Planning optimal processes for the development and checking that high quality standards are followed in all phases of the development. Acting as a lead person to concept new features and plans how features are roadmapped to the development process and to the sprints. My role is also to act as a project manager for collaborative projects with other units inside Nokia.

Provided expertise in product development and strategy in a start-up.

Future Peaks Oy

Member of the board

Scrum mastering, co-ordinating agile product development for two web services. Main responsibilities were in concepting and specifying new features and following through the implementation. Deeply involved in product planning decision making process and customer requirement handling.

Senior Engineer

After doing my MSc Thesis on "Online Co-Creation of Mobile Software and Services" I was hired to continue my work at Nokia Beta Labs to keep developing the service.
I since worked mainly as a facilitator of the development of Beta Labs and a very similar internal service. Since January 2010 my role was that of a scrum master and I was responsible for implementing scrum in our team.

- Successful launch of the new Nokia Beta Labs
- Implemented scrum to the team

I did my Master of Science Thesis in Nokia Beta Labs. The topic was "Online Co-Creation of Mobile Software and Services"
Key achievements:
- Produced a highly impactful thesis on online co-creation for Nokia
- Kicked off a project to implement a new online service based on findings
- Received a top grade from the thesis
