During his tenure as Director of Marketing at Toast, Inc., Derek played a crucial role in developing Toast from a small start-up with just over a hundred employees to become a market leader with thousands of employees and a multi-billion dollar valuation. Derek also led the Marketing efforts for digital marketing products at Vistaprint, launching several new products to customers worldwide.

Today, Derek continues to excel as the Vice President of Marketing at Squadle, Inc., where he is defining a new market category by streamlining operations for some of the world's most prominent food brands. Derek possesses an MBA in Management from MIT Sloan and a B.A. in Economics from Union College.
