Wan Li Zhu is a prominent figure in the technology investment world, having co-founded and currently managing Suffolk Technologies, a venture capital and innovation company focusing on investing in startups transforming the built environment. Before this, he worked as a Partner at Fairhaven Capital, an enterprise software and deep tech investor, overseeing investments of over $430M. Zhu is also the founder and head of MIT Alumni Angels, which has invested in over 100 MIT-affiliated startups specializing in technology and life sciences.
Zhu's educational background includes completing an MBA at Harvard Business School and achieving a perfect GPA of 5.0/5.0 during his studies in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Zhu has an extensive list of experiences and organizations he has worked with, ranging from investment and advisory roles in startups like Felux, Roivant Sciences' Enovant, and cyber Reliant, to management positions in tech giants like Google and Microsoft. Zhu has also led enterprise software product development and marketing teams for Dynamics CRM, the fastest-growing business in Microsoft's history.
