Charles Haine
Charles Haine is a multi-talented creative professional with extensive experience in film, writing, and entrepreneurship. He studied Cinema-Television at the University of Southern California for his MFA, and then went on to complete his undergraduate studies in English at Oberlin College. With over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Charles has directed numerous music videos, book trailers, and commercials, in addition to his feature-length film, Angels Perch, starring Joyce Van Patten, JT Arbogast, and Ashley Jones.
As an author, Charles has written The Urban Cyclist's Handbook and is currently working on upcoming books about entrepreneurship and color grading, as well as serving as Program Director at Brooklyn College's Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. His writing has been featured on popular industry websites such as No Film School and Frame.io, where he wrote as a Technical Writer and Freelance Writer, respectively.
Aside from his creative pursuits, Charles has also founded two motion picture services and post-production companies, Dirty Robber and Coyote Post, where he develops and produces content and assists others with their projects. His specialties include directing, writing, color grading, cinematography, bicycle repair, business, and entrepreneurship. He has also served as an instructor at Columbia College Hollywood and as an associate professor at Los Angeles City College.
