Thomas McDaniel

Thomas R. McDaniel, Jr. (Tom) hails from Richmond, Virginia, and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. His professional journey encompasses roles as an auditor, staff accountant in a Fortune 500 company, controller/chief financial officer for a privately owned firm, and a managerial position at a CPA practice.

He is actively involved in professional associations such as the North Carolina association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he contributes to the community through memberships in organizations like the Kernersville Rotary Club and participation on boards like the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, the Kernersville Board of Aldermen, and the Kernersville YMCA.

Away from work, Tom enjoys leisure activities including golf, tennis, and unwinding by the lake with his family. His personal philosophy revolves around the mantra: "Never taking a risk is the biggest risk of all."

With specialties in multi-state tax issues, franchises, the construction industry, and accounting software selection, Tom brings a diverse skill set to the table.

Tom's educational background includes studying Accounting at Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business.

Currently, he serves as the Member Manager at McDaniel & Company, PLLC, having previously held positions such as Certified Sage Software Consultant at the same firm and Controller at Career Horizons, Inc.
