Carla Mellough

Carla Mellough is a highly qualified scientist with a PhD in Anatomy and Human Biology (Neuroscience) from The University of Western Australia. With extensive experience in pharmacology and stem cell research, she has held several impressive positions, including Director of Pharmacology at PYC Therapeutics, Head of the Retinal Organoid Laboratory at Lions Eye Institute, and consultant Director of Pharmacology at Vision Pharma Pty Ltd. Carla has also worked as a Senior Research Associate at Institute of Genetic Medicine, Newcastle University, and as a Research Associate at Durham University and CIPF. She is a former Stem Cells Portal Content Editor at AlphaMed Press and Wiley-Blackwell, showcasing her skills in science communication.
