Linus Chen is an accomplished lawyer and conservation biologist with a passion for protecting endangered species. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Conservation Biology and Environmental Policy from Boston University before continuing his studies at Emory University School of Law, where he earned his Doctor of Law degree. Additionally, he earned a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from Yale University School of Forestry.

Chen has published numerous legal and scientific papers on a range of topics, including conservation biology, endangered species recovery, and environmental law. He has received recognition for his exceptional work, including the State Bar of Michigan's Environmental Law Section student writing competition and an honorable mention in the ELI Student Writing Competition.

Currently serving as an Attorney-Advisor at the Department of the Interior, Chen has a unique perspective on threatened and endangered species protection. He has also held various roles outside of his legal career, including treasurer for the Udall Alumni Association and Group Fitness Instructor at multiple sports clubs.
