Karen Blessen is an accomplished Program Director with a strong background in Philanthropy, Community Organizing, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Development, and Social Media.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a focus in Sculpture and Painting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Karen has a diverse educational background, having also studied at Columbus High School in Nebraska.

Throughout her career, Karen has been deeply involved with '29 Pieces,' where she has held various key roles such as Founder & Artistic Director, Former Program Director, Former Founder & Executive Artistic Director, and Former President and Co-Founder.

Prior to her roles at '29 Pieces,' she served as an Artist and Writer at 'Karen Blessen: Artist and Writer' and as a Designer at 'The Dallas Morning News.'
