Moonshine Ridge, Inc. Tasting Room and distillery is founded by brothers, Tom and Jason Hicks. They are two brothers keeping their heritage alive by brewing moonshine. While the company name is new, the recipes are tried and true, passed down and perfected through generations. In fact, they are third generation moonshiners, maybe even fourth.  "The story of our moonshine was born in the Blue Grass Hills of Kentucky, with our granddad Archer who distilled and sold it as a way to support his family. And rumor has it, that this is how our parents met! Upon returning from the Korean War, our dad stopped into a road-house, where he met our now uncles and it wasn't long, before dad started to run a bit of moonshine for granddad. Soon after, dad met Archer's daughter (mom!) and the rest is moonshine history!  With our mom's side of the family gone and the increasing popularity of moonshine, we knew we wanted to carry on the family tradition that brought our mom and dad together. So we set out to obtain granddad Archer's corn mash recipe.  But it wasn't enough to just get the recipe, we wanted to tweak it, perfect it, and create the best damn sippin' shine, this side of the Mississippi! 'Shine that would make our granddad proud. Responsible for business development, marketing, project management, and office operations/management including but not limited to:	Seek out, manage and produce all RFQ/RFP response submittals. Prepare presentations for team interviews/client meetings.	Participate/engage in weekly operations planning meetings. Search, seek, manage and maintain bidding opportunities, documents and deadlines. Review, evaluate repairs and estimations, negotiate pricing as necessary, obtain details and photos for work proposed, produce proposal and present to client.	Administrate contractual agreements with vendors/suppliers/subcontractors for approved repairs. 	Manage approved repairs while work in progress to ensure smooth and timely completion. Responsible for contracts, insurance administration as follows:	Review incoming contracts for accuracy.	Obtain and maintain required documents such as insurance, permits, business licenses.	Coordinate directly with field personnel to obtain change order  information, scheduling issues, RFI’s.	Maintain, track and reconcile change order logs for all projects.  	Maintain and track company cell phones, gas cards, toll road transponders. Maintain and ensure company vehicles are current with registration and insurance.	Request, track and submit subcontractor/vendor monthly releases.	Assist with preparation and submittal of monthly progress billings.

Responsible for contracts, assisting in direct construction budgeting and purchasing as follows:	Assist Purchasing Agent in obtaining correct/complete quotes, reviewing proposals, trade details and vendor information for specified scopes of work.  Prepare contract documents as negotiated for signature.   Input contract prices into accounting software to create base contract.  Meet with Trade Partners for signing of contracts and amendments. Maintain contract files for duration of each project. 	Research, review and prepare revisions to contracts. Ensure all contracts, payment schedules, Schedules of Properties, any applicable amendments or changes to scopes of work are correct, current and processed in a timely manner, executed and returned by Trade Partners as not to delay the construction schedule. 	Assist Purchasing Agent in research of new product and obtain collateral information/samples as necessary. Attend Purchasing Department meetings, providing updates on status of activities. 	Obtain all necessary MSDS information, insurance information/certificates along with Contractor’s licenses and business licenses for each Trade Partner. Track and record all licenses in Trade Partner Business License log – request current license as needed due to expiration. Track and record MSDS required form for all Trade Partners, prepare copies of forms to distribute as instructed. 	Assist Accounting department in troubleshooting discrepancies in billings relating to contracts and purchasing issues in order to allow correct payment of invoices. 	Reconcile direct budgeting issues with budget coordinator providing detailed explanation of any changes. 	Communicate with Construction Department for Schedules of Properties as needed for budgeting and contracting.

Review and reconcile contracts with individual builders as follows:	Obtain proper paperwork (start work orders, payment schedules, options purchase orders) within a timely manner in order to ensure timely and correct billing can be achieved. 	Obtain sequence sheets and color schemes in order to place purchase orders for tile as housing is scheduled. 	Assist Sales department with proposals and verify proper increases are received by builder and put into effect as required.	Breakdown each plan type estimate for each project and fill out loadlists, paysheets and estimated job costs reports properly to balance project within one percent of budget. 	Assist billing department with discrepancies in contract amounts, receivables and option pricing. 	Research, correct and/or clarify pay rate problems for field laborers, material discrepancies for loading employees.

All administrative duties for project attainment, management and completion and estimating as follows: 	Review plans and scopes of work in order to obtain proper subcontractor quotes.  Obtain, create and distribute invitations to bid.  Receive bids, cross check with plans and specifications to assure properly quoted.  Communicate with bidders to receive any missing information.  Create general contractor proposal incorporating all sub bids. 	Bid document preparation and contract execution including obtaining bid bonds, DVBE requirements, performance and payment bonds, insurance, bonds, insurance and contracts. 	Project startup including project files, organization and tracking of project submittals through approval process, managing and maintenance of job files, change orders (tracking, creating and entering budgets), RFI’s and all other correspondence. 	Providing assistance to project managers and field personnel as necessary in order to assure project is proceeding according to construction schedule, coordinating delivery/pickup of rental equipment, machines, materials/supplies, etc.	Preparing and submitting monthly progress billings per deadlines. 	Project closure to include all closeout items and documents required by contract (as-builts, O&M manuals, spare parts, warranties, guarantees). Verifying all subcontractors are complete and are in compliance with contract specifications.	Obtaining city and county permits as necessary. 	Accounts payables and receivables, weekly check runs, reconciling of monthly statements, verifying subcontractor monthly billings and lien releases. 	Creating and maintaining close professional working relationships with owners, construction managers, subcontractors and vendors/suppliers. 	Coordinating and planning company functions, meetings, travel arrangements.
