Alex Carrillo is a robotics and software engineer with a strong academic background in electrical engineering. He has ample experience in designing and developing hardware and software for various applications. He has a side interest in anthropology, sociology, and urban history.

Alex possesses excellent skills in machining, welding, rapid prototyping, and 3D printing. He is also experienced in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout. He has worked with various microcontrollers and is skilled in programming languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, and Lua. Besides being proficient in software development, he has also worked with Amazon Web Services, Linux Systems Administration, and has knowledge of Simulink and MVC frameworks.

He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Yale University. He gained valuable industry experience working with companies such as SpaceX, Apple, and Tempo Automation, among others. Currently, he serves as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at FarmWise.
