Raymundo Tamayo is a seasoned international development consultant and currently serves as Country Director for Mexico at the International Rescue Committee, where he oversees the implementation of long-term programs focusing on economic recovery, education, health, and violence prevention. He has an impressive academic background, holding a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in conflict resolution from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

With experience consulting for various international organizations, including UNICEF, the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), and the private sector in Mexico and several other countries, Raymundo has made significant contributions to projects ranging from youth and adolescent development to crisis recovery and humanitarian emergencies. He is passionate about creating sustainable development partnerships, advocating for vulnerable communities, and promoting social justice.

In his free time, Raymundo enjoys outdoor activities and practicing triathlon.
