Tom Helland is a Detroit-based Creative/Design Director with a flair for corporate identities, advertising, and web design. With a background in graphic design and a BFA from the College for Creative Studies, Tom has worked in automotive agencies for the most part, but has recently added hotels and consumer packaged goods to his portfolio. What sets Tom apart is his professional doodling skills, which make his design and creative solutions distinctive and ever-evolving.

Tom began his career as an Art Director at Young & Rubicam, and has since held key design positions at top advertising firms such as Bozell/FCB, Organic, J. Walter Thompson, BBDO Detroit, McCann Detroit, Leo Burnett, and Campbell Ewald. His extensive tenure in these positions has made him a pro at graphic design, creative direction, art direction, web design, and illustration.

As an accomplished Associate Creative Director, Tom has an impressive set of accomplishments under his belt, with a specialization in automotive advertising. Among other things, he has worked with General Motors, Chevrolet, Jeep, and Dodge in developing eye-catching and exciting designs that keep the audience engaged.
