Roland Labana is currently the Head of Program Management for Snap Lab at Snap Inc., overseeing products like Snap Spectacles, managing all aspects of design, hardware, software, go-to-market strategy, e-commerce, and more.

With a strong background in the technology industry, Roland has led the development and rollout of wireless connectivity features for various handsets, including notable launches such as the Moto X, Moto G, and DROID Turbo.

His expertise spans a wide range of areas from mobile handset technologies to wireless infrastructure, including call processing, multimedia, location services, wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, WIFI, NFC), sensors, and data instrumentation.

Roland Labana holds impressive academic credentials, with an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, an M.S. in EECS from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Roland is known for his focused and driven approach to achieving high performance, leading self-directed teams to deliver outstanding results and fostering creativity and technical excellence.

Apart from his technical prowess, Roland Labana also has a creative side, having written and produced music for film and CD releases, even earning an Academy Award nomination.
