I manage the long-term growth and direction of DHX Media’s digital media strategy in support of their extensive catalogue of animation and live action television properties. I work with development creative in DHX Studios and brand management at DHX Brands to direct the best digital media strategy for forthcoming properties. I also oversee the complete lifecycle of each property’s digital media productions, including games, websites, and applications across all platforms.I spearhead efforts to explore new revenue streams for digital media outside of DHX Media’s traditional business. The television and broadcast space is evolving rapidly in the digital age and my main focus is to improve and expand the company’s presence in the digital space, making our properties and brands truly cross-platform for the fans and viewers.

I head the Interactive department, pursuing digital media products to support the company's original IP portfolio of children's television programming. Long term department planning, securing funding, project scheduling, and project management make up my day-to-day tasks. Published titles include:- Slugterra: Slug It Out! action puzzle game available for iOS devices.- Battle For Slugterra action platformer web game for Flash.- The official Slugterra website at <a href="http://www.slugterra.com">www.slugterra.com</a>.

I lead the software development of the new interactive division at Nerd Corps. Duties include:- Taking an active role in the planning of new projects.- Driving technical designs of projects.- Research into new technologies for future work.- Managing a team of software developers and ensuring we meet our milestones.

Contracted to design and build a film financing website for Binoir Media, a start-up company.- Implemented a distributed architecture that separated the front-end web presentation from the back-end transaction processing.- Worked primarily with PHP, HTTP, and MySQL to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end.- Implemented payment systems with merchant service providers.

Packetsafe Networks

Built television production management and pipeline tools for the studio.- Development of new projects based on the needs of a rapidly growing animation studio.- Production tools for animation pipeline such as scripts for Autodesk Softimage, time management tracking, and core IT systems.- Continual improvement and maintenance of in-house render farm, from the render submission interface for artists down to the individual render clients.
