Matthew C. Applegate is an internationally recognized electronic musician, educator, published academic author, video game designer, and freelance technology and design consultant with an extensive career filled with numerous accolades. He has run workshops, given lectures, and performed all over the world. As the CEO, Founder & Trustee at Creative Computing Club Charitable Foundation, he focuses on providing engaging and educational technology-based sessions for children aged between 8-16 in Suffolk, England. Alongside this, he is currently pursuing his PhD in "Educational Music Technology."

Having studied a Postgraduate Award in Educational Studies at the University of Cambridge and a Master of Arts in Design, Context & Analysis at University Campus Suffolk, Matthew has consistently demonstrated a commitment to education and the digital creative fields. He also co-founded and directs the East Anglian Digital Incubator and Ipswich Game Developers Network.

Throughout his career, he has won several awards for his music, software development, and design work. In addition, he has been a judge at Singularity University, Hacks Manager at Rewired State, and Head of Rewired State and Turing Centenary Advisory Committee at Turing Centenary Advisory Committee.
