Elizabeth Ferrao, a software engineer, developer evangelist, and product consultant, is the founder of Easy Mobile Onboarding (EMO). Specializing in creating best-in-class onboarding for mobile apps, EMO is a SaaS platform that helps improve the retention of mobile applications. With a non-traditional career path, she has taught product management to over 75 adults through General Assembly, leading to 20% promotions, 25% new jobs, and 20% increase in responsibility. Furthermore, she built a 17k community of female engineers in NYC. Elizabeth's background includes being a former partner at Product Mindset, fellow at On Deck and Tacklebox, and a former fellow at Civic Hall's Entrepreneur in Residence. Her past experience involved roles such as senior product consultant at Streetmix, head of product at XapiX.io, technology consultant at Free Electron Tech, and mobile developer at Time Inc. She studied at Rochester Institute of Technology. In addition to her professional expertise, Elizabeth loves multi-day hikes and completed the Everest Base Camp, West Highland Way, and Canyonlands trails.
